JUNE GERSTEN-ROBERTS CHOREOGRAPHER DANCE VIDEO ARTIST A contemplative intimacy and sensitivity to details of gesture and texture are qualities June shapes into her dance works. Focusing on these qualities has moved her towards working with video as an alternative to live performance. Video has opened up the potential for discovering new relationships between the dancer, the camera and location and her recent videos choreograph dance and visual responses to the places she works in and loves, the dance studio at Wenning Studios and solitary sites in the local dale |
