An installation in a unique fairytale turret space And exhibition of drawings, video and textile objects by Mary Stark and June Gersten Roberts Best Day is a collaborative project exploring ideas of femininity, memory and repeated traditions embodied in bridal memorabilia… Working with weddings as forms of public theatre, in which the bride acts as both director and star and fascinated by wedding dresses as culturally loaded objects, June and Mary’s work delights in the excess of embellishment dedicated to an ephemeral event Private View Thursday September 24th 4 - 7pm Exhibition open Monday to Saturday September 25th - 3rd October 10am - 4pm at Lanternhouse International, Ulverston
