4-6 Sept | 11-13 Sept | 11:00-17:00
For more than 20 years visitors have followed our Open Studios Event located in and around the Lune valley, seeking out the work places of artists producing paintings, woven/felted textiles, sculpture, lino cuts and engravings.
Each studio will have a display of current work for visitors to view and to purchase. Should you wish to commission an exclusive piece – just ask!
If you decide to make a full day (or two) to visit everyone, there are plenty of very good pubs, restaurants and hotels for food and accommodation. We look forward to seeing you.

Diverse and talented group of local artists
This year’s Lunesdale Arts Open Studio event brings together a diverse and talented group of local artists, each offering a unique perspective and creative voice. Visitors can explore a rich tapestry of work, from contemporary painting and traditional printmaking to fine ceramics. The participating artists are all based in and around the beautiful Lune Valley, drawing inspiration from its landscapes, heritage, and community. This is a rare opportunity to step inside their working studios, see their creative process up close, and engage directly with the people behind the art.
*More artists to be announced soon – map will be updated in due course*
